OK Go

OK Go are the undisputed grand masters of creating innovative, mind-boggling music videos. Their hit Here It Goes Again became a viral sensation as far back 2005, using nothing more than a handfull of treadmills, some fetching retro outfits and impressive choreography.

Since then they’ve had equally popular videos featuring dancing dogs (White Knuckles) and an ultra complex Rube Goldberg Machine (This Too Shall Pass).

Now with the band’s new album, ‘Hungry Ghosts’, due out in October they’ve outdone themselves again with the mind-bending video for The Writing’s On the Wall. The video, shot in a Brooklyn warehouse took three weeks and 50 takes to get right. The result is a series of Felice Varini-like optical illusions that left us disorientated and delighted in equal measure. A must watch.
