Pink Floyd Records
Pentagram designed a new record label identity and a box set for Pink Floyd Records that pay homage to one of their most iconic album covers, Animals.
For the identity, Harry Pearce and team at Pentagram have executed a beautifully faithful recreation of the typography as seen on Animals album cover as well as extending its character set to the full alphabet. The original LP cover was designed by the famed design collective Hipgnosis.
The team also designed a box set, The Early Years 1965-1972, which takes an element from the band’s famed Bedford van.
