Barbara Bernát: Hungarian paper money

Barbara Bernát: Hungarian paper money

If Barbara Bernát had her way we’d have money that would be to beatiful to spend! For her MA degree project she created a fictional currency, the Hungarian euro. Each note features european animals and related species of plants illustrated on either side of the banknote.

Based on the original proportions of the existing euro banknote. As the denomination increases, the dimensions of the note and the size of the animals also increase to represent the growth in value.

The blacklight reactive layer is also a brilliant idea!

Check out the whole project and work in progress shots.
