6th - 7th October 2017 — Bristol, United Kingdom
Something Good is a new 2 day design festival with an initial line-up including Snask, Anthony Burrill and Wilfrid Wood. Taking over Bristol this October for two days (6-7th October), this unique design festival will include a day of exciting and inspiring creative talks across various disciplines, a Real Good after party and a full day of creative workshops across the city on the Saturday.
On Friday 6th October
The iconic building St George plays host to a day of talks from a carefully curated team of creatives, working across different disciplines and mediums. The first wave line-up includes Snask, Anthony Burrill, Trapped in Suburbia, Brendan Dawes, Wilfrid Wood and Gavin Strange. Further additions to the line-up are due to be announced in the coming weeks.
Throughout the day they’ll share stories and anecdotes of how they got to where they are today, how they tackle challenging creative briefs, where they find inspiration and how they keep themselves stimulated outside of commercial work. During downtime and breaks guests can expect food and drinks stalls, t-shirt printing, a pop-up shop and much more.
Saturday 7th October
Saturday is a chance for guests to get their hands dirty, with a series of hands-on workshops hosted by leading creatives, in venues across the city.
Something Good is being organised and curated by thread – a community interest company (CIC) that organises inspiring talks, workshops and get togethers for the creative community of Bristol and the South West.
