Design inspiration from around the world.

What the FFF?

Founded in 2005 by an ever growing group of designers, illustrators, coders and makers eager to collect and share the best design work they came across, FormFiftyFive soon became an international showcase of creative work.

We scour the world’s best creative talent to keep FormFiftyFive a foremost collection of current design from both the young upstarts and well known masters. We’re constantly on the look out for new features that dig even deeper into what’s happening in the design community, so get in touch if there’s something you’ld like to see on here.

Have a look round, if you see something you love or hate be sure to comment, and drop us a line if there’s a juicy bit of creative gold you’d like to see on here.

Keep it real, the FFF team.

Glory Glory

Glory Glory is an upcoming exhibition and book of large format typographic posters based on football chants, in support of British Blind Sport. It is curated by Made Thought designer Nick Blakeman, Sea Design designer Alex Brown and FFF-regular and ex-Music Craig Oldham. The event is kindly sponsored by Gavin Martin Colournet and GF Smith.

The trio has already signed up 32 high-profile players including Bibliothèque, Hat-Trick Design, Margaret Calvert, Music, The Chase, and Build. We spoke with one contributors and managed to get some behind the scenes info of Dave Sedgwick’s piece.

I came up with the idea of using football studs to create typography and chose the Argentinian team of Boca Juniors for my chant. The piece is made from wood, acrylic and is approximately just over a metre in size. The rest of the chant is etched into the wood around the hexagon edges. Liam Hopkins of Lazerian helped to make the object. – Dave Sedgwick.

The exhibition opens today:

37 Cremer Street
London E2 8HD
